Scott brings with him a unique combination of educational and work backgrounds. He has degrees in Social Work, Business Administration and Accounting. The Social Work program gives Scott the understanding of connecting and building productive relationships with individuals. He also obtained experience relating to the important skills of teamwork and being customer-focused throughout his educational endeavors, as well as in his previous work experience in the retail industry.
When clients work with Scott, he first makes sure he understands the situation and then uses his experience and education to make suggestions for a resolution. Scott’s background and extensive experience equip him to give advice based on the technical foundation in accounting and broader knowledge of how to navigate and excel in an ever changing business-oriented environment.
Scott takes on many roles with our firm. His primary focus is working on the technical side of tax planning, preparation, reviewing, and research. He also leads our Intern Program and provides internal training for the staff. Scott performs consulting services for clients on both one-time and continuing projects.
Scott enjoys meeting and learning about people with different life experiences. He feels it is through the great Diversity around us that we are allowed to continually grow and develop throughout each stage of life. Scott volunteers his time and participates in various fundraisers to support local and national non-profit organizations. He plays a key role in our yearly TB&A Community Day.
