Janice Abluton, CPA
Manager
Janice grew up in the Carolinas in a down- to- earth family, who always expected the best of everyone. Academics were important along with support for trying a variety of outside interests. To encourage musical talents, she tried learning to play the piano, but quickly realized that artistic ability was not her forte. Janice’s true talents were problem solving and precision with numbers.
Janice began her successful career in healthcare and other service industries, but realized that her passions for problem solving and working with people were leading her to become a CPA. She earned her CPA and joined her husband, Ron, in their CPA practice, where she used her talents and interests to help individuals and small businesses with tax planning and preparation. Their company merged with TB&A where Janice continues to enjoy the privilege of building client trust and solving complex tax situations to develop lasting relationships with the added resources of a larger firm.
When faced with serious tax situations, Janice represents clients to the IRS and works to reduce penalties. Her professional manner and thoughtful methodical approach help her work with the IRS to create resolution and peace of mind for her clients.
Janice enjoys playing tennis and spending time with her family. She is active in her church and frequently works at Room in the Inn. She enjoys helping children at Rama Road Elementary School where she has assisted for three years as a fifth grade tutor.
