Growing up in New York as the son of a prominent CPA, John developed an appreciation for analysis of financial information and the powerful impact it has on business decisions. After graduation, John accepted a position at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Wanting to bring his large firm expertise to small businesses, he and his wife, Darci, founded Bly & Bly, CPA which grew to become TB&A. The firm name was changed to LB&A, Certified Public Accountants, PLLC in 2011. Despite a challenging economy, John's leadership helped LB&A earn the distinction of being one of the fastest growing CPA firms in the Charlotte region.
John's emphasis on being proactive enables client success. Hallmarks of John's service are insightful information and practical advice to help clients circumvent challenges before they arise.
When a client faces a complex business decision, John helps determine the best possible outcome, develops a strategic plan, and then works with business owners to take advantage of opportunities and overcome obstacles.
John gives back to the community by leading the firm in projects to benefit non-profit organizations serving children, seniors and the under-resourced. Most recently, the firm prepared and served hot lunches for 368 people at St. Peter's Soup Kitchen. In his spare time, John enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and international travel.
